An interactive design object that merges state-of-the-art additive manufacturing with a clever magnetic mechanism. Sold under the brand SnapBall, this project combines play, stress relief, and aesthetics into one iconic, geometric form.

Precision Engineering & Manufacturing: Each ball is produced using high-precision 3D printing. It consists of geometrically exact segments with hidden, high-performance neodymium magnets that allow for intuitive disassembly and a satisfying "click" during reassembly.

Tactile Multi-functionality: The object is designed for versatility. It serves as a challenging 3D puzzle, a soothing desk-side fidget toy, or—thanks to the magnetic segments—functional individual magnets. The tactile feedback of the magnets provides a unique haptic experience.

Aesthetic Design Language: While staying true to the classic hexagonal-pentagonal DNA of a football, the characteristic 3D-printed surface texture adds a contemporary, technical aesthetic that elevates it to a piece of modern decor.

Full-Cycle Product Management: This project encompasses the entire product lifecycle, from the initial CAD construction and material testing to in-house production and global distribution via platforms like Etsy under the label SnapBall.
